CCSVI, Tysabri and PML - Flowers4MS, Angelusa73, Update on Angela, Doppler short
Patrick Gerard McBride Hey Paul,
I hope you are feeling better. I'm trying another avenue for now. Tell me what you think. I had my iron levels checked. Iron came back ok, but my ferritin came pretty elevated, (548), normal levels are between 8-548. Ferritin is a protein that is elevated when somewhere in the body we have increased iron. That... would be the brain in us MS patients. The thing I'm concerned with though is the iron is already in our brains, causing "iron toxicity!" And the iron is anable to drain from our brains properly because of the stenosis? I have herd from other people that they have felt better after donating blood, which would lower these ferritin/iron levels, so better to try and .... then to never try at all. Ill let you know Paul! Never give up!!!!:)
Deb Turcotte Get your thyroids checked to guys. Wishing you all the best!
Paul Dye From Brenda Raven: another of our MS family is stricken with PML from Tysabri. But they get approval??? prayers for Angela from Flowers for MS
Paul Dye via Ken Torbert : The National MS Society has come under considerable pressure to acknowledge that CCSVI has potential to help MS patients. They have been slow to respond, and have responded in a very minimalist fashion. MS patients must go beyond MS Societies to get current information. The Societies are reluctant to move forward in no...n Pharma solutions to treating MS. CCSVI Alliance has been set up as an alternative to NMSS.
Yvonne Andersen Hello everyone. MEEEE again. Marcels story could possibly be on the National this evening and on the CTV News Channel.
