To all in my family and I mean each and every one of you here, fighting, recovering or "waiting for the call" Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

*Renee McFerrin Brooks Ken, What kind of Doctor should I go to to ask for a veinogram? Mt Doppler was negative and have you seen many MS people here that had a open jugular veins but the other veinx like azgos veins were stenosed. Is a MRI also included when they do a veinogram?
Ken Torbert
Doppler and MRI's are done pre procedure a Venogram is done in conjunction with the procedure. When having a Doppler they should follow Zamboni's protocol.
When having MRI they should be following Dr. Haacke's protol. You may want to go to ...an IR that provide MRI and procedures to include venogram and angioplasty.
Ken Torbert
Interventional radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments. They offer the most in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available coupled with diagnostic and clinical exp...erience across all specialties. They use X-rays, MRI and other imaging to advance a catheter in the body, usually in an artery, to treat at the source of the disease non-surgically. As the inventors of angioplasty and the catheter-delivered stent, which were first used in the legs to treat peripheral arterial disease, interventional radiologists pioneered minimally invasive modern medicine.

Today many conditions that once required surgery can be treated nonsurgically by interventional radiologists. Interventional radiology treatments offer less risk, less pain and less recovery time compared to
to open surgery.

Find an IR near you http://doctor-finder.sirweb.org/
open surgery.
pper and Maria Lynn Vaillancourt are on their way to freedom!!
Renee McFerrin Brooks I am so happy for ya'll and I can't wait to see all the MS symptoms disapper after the procedure. Are you put under anesthesia or just a IV with a drug that will put u to sleep like what Michael Jackson used, Pro=panolo?
Ken Torbert
You are awake during procedure..If, for an example one jugular is blocked the entire procedure is about 45 minutes. Very small incision to put catheter in vein in groin. Some pressure felt from balloon. Easier than going to a dentist! Go to... CCSVI Locator and follow many blogs from individuals who have had this procedure and read articles about it.
